And lots of them. LOTS. I cleared out any without a picture, which is a big chunk of those adopted out. Like... 11, 12, 18 are practically new sheets, as well as some open designs on nearly all the sheets, except for... two, i think. It's been well over 6 months since the last design was made, so those who never did a picture, your designs have been snatched from you like an old lady's purse.  Controversly, if you did do a picture and I missed it, link it to me and you'll get your design back ASAP.

How this will work! You leave a messages that says which design you'd like, and I give you the okay- you do not own this design until the picture is done, this way I'm not constantly holding spots and waiting on you folk'll.  Multiple people may apply for the same design, but until you see a picture up, or a username, then assume it's free game to try.

Now, if you had a design but it's gone since you either forgot you adopted it, or something came up and it slips your mind, you too are still able to get that design back if you want. The same rules apply as above.

NEW~- Massive Behavior Guide

Back story:

Icarathians are a designer species: once wild, they were taken in with logic to domesticate them in some aspects like wolves or dogs. But it takes a very special kind of person to raise them correctly for their intended jobs, which is guarding a flock, guarding a home, etc. The Icarathian sends out a sonic warning siren, similar to a fire alarm when something is wrong. It was common practice to grind down their razor-sharp from hatching, on a routine basis. Raised incorrectly (there MUST be a good pecking order, if not, that's considered raising it poorly) results in a fairly tamed icarathian for the first years of it's life, but it will seek that mental stimulation elsewhere around the age of 6-8 and escape/ wander off.

This has led to two things: Separate bands of once tame Icarathains banding together. This is often called a designer species, because their coats, when wild are usually a muddied variance of grays, light blues, light greens, blacks, and whites, was extorted for the purpose of style, and fashion into  exuberant reds, oranges, yellows, teals, etc. These colors in the wild DO serve a purpose: they're a great means of distraction to a prey, to have a predator to be easily seen. But this factor does not always work: Often, these brightly colored icarathians have a hard time catching prey, and rely on the environment with it's dust, dirt, and mud to give them the cover they lack.

The other band of Icarathians are like the mustangs of the horse world. Their colors are often semi-bold (white and black co-mingling in contrast), and provide a great cover when hunting.  They are not sociable to people in any way, and often are shot at while they steal the livestock that some icarathians guard. This provides a problem, and has been known to lead the tame icarathians away in the past in confusion.

Parts of the world still keep tamed icarathians as guards, and many have been known to live full, healthy lives with people. Some, when not trained correctly, wander off, only to die of dehydration, for their coats are far too brilliant and bright to give them the adaptability they need. It's not unheard of for a tame icarathian to band up with wild ones, and vice versa. They rely on a highly-developed sense of sonar, which tells, in sound, the landscape around them. They recognize another icarathian by shape, and they way signals bounce back to one another off their masks, not in color. This is often a poor mistake, because one brightly colored icarathian makes a beacon to hunters, angry at icarathians stealing from their livestock.

There has been more recent call for the release of all captive icarathians, for a few reasons: 1. People are starting to see them as highly intelligent animals that do not deserve to be locked up, and 2. They worry about what the Icarathian defense attack will do to their windows. The defense attack for an Icarathian is similar to short-range sonic boom. It's a quick clack of air shot out; in the wild, this is used to knock a prey a little senseless and confused and open them for the final attack; but when amongst civilization, this as just proved dangerous and hurtful to the people around it.  It is not uncommon to have this organ removed. This is not smiled upon, but it's not frowned upon either.

It is unknown if Icarathians "Talk" to one another; they can often be heard chattering away, both verbally and sonically, but it would be impossible to decrypt. The sound made is similar to a sort of songbird tweet. Often incredibly high pitched, and rather short.
