"…..ohhh fuck." I muttered, flicking them as they were indeed feathers, right up out of the skin.  Christopher spotted them too by this time, more confused than properly understanding the hell he was about to go through. Again.  "Shit…. you're going back."

"Back to what?" He almost laughed at it, before another surge of pain sent him grasping for his head, leaning over, suffering.  I had to take a step back, trying and get my bearings, not expecting this.

We rested later that night, watched the sunset for the second time; though this was a lot different. Christopher kept quiet while I sat against him, wandering the lines of sleep and wakefulness. Recuperating. Thankfully my body still knew how to do that; I could still get some of that energy back, I just had to rest up for it like a crabby old woman. I couldn't shake the feeling like I was waiting for something. That i'd started my final goodbyes, and I now I was stuck in purgatory, biding my time. Sick of residing in my own head, I turned back to the past-soul wonder, speaking solemnly.

Why is it that I live in a part of the city where these things aren't around...

But Holland is a nice place to live, boring as hell sometimes though.

I had some references given to me by the commissioner of the train from different perspectives, and some of the houses n' streets and complied it all together from that :D

But public transportation is ALWAYS fun! :D

Bus around here sucks too, lol. or the amtrak, which is always like...2 hours late from destination to destination.
